For any teen who wants to pursue a career in music? Listen to all types of perspectives, and not just listen to the naysayers. Also pursue different majors at college. Last, always be genuine and honest. Don’t be fake bc people your potential employers will sense that.

Alexis Avila talks to teen country artist , Josey Milner. Josey is an 18 year old multi-award-nominated singer and an anti-bullying spokesperson with national non-profit, Angels and Doves. At only 17 years old, she turned heads and changed hearts with her debut US single, “Not Pretty Enough” a song that stands up to bullying and garnered over 200,000 hits on youtube. Josey recently graduated magna cum laude from high school and will attend college this fall, having earned several major scholarships. Josey recently had a #1 national charting single, “Cowgirls.” (#1 New Music Weekly)
