Mindfulness Made Simple: Being present in the moment

Research has shown that mindfulness is helpful in reducing stress and has been an important component in various psychological therapies. Being mindful, simply put, is being aware of the present moment. It’s forgetting about the past and forgetting about the future and making a conscious effort to pay attention in a non-judgmental way and not rush toward fixing things. This new attitude of curiosity, openness, acceptance, and love helps you recognize old patterns that no longer serve you well and reshape those patterns in new positive directions.
